GOLEM PINK
Furious music for gentle people.
Wholehearted music for the easily overwhelmed.
GOLEM PINK is the soft part of hard things.
We're so glad you're here.
we are a group of musicians hailing from Portland, Oregon, making what we call “indie collage music”. A mixture of catchy indie rock song structures, found sound and sampling textures, and an earnest post punk attitude. Our music is a constant stream of surprises and warmth, once described as “like if scrolling through social media actually felt good”.
Formed in 2023 by Emet Harmon (guitar, vocals) and Bex Joy (synth, drum machine, vocals) and fleshed out by Helen Spencer-Wallace (keys, textures, vocals) in 2024, GOLEM PINK has been cutting our teeth in the PNW DIY scene making connections between disparate genres and playing host to moments of raucous joy (from a collaboration with hip-hop artists, to getting engaged on stage, to standing at the pulpit in a repurposed church as a congregation of queer folks got on their knees for the final song).
We've made everything ourselves so far. From the music to the production to the merch to the artwork everything reflects that messy collage aesthetic and we embrace our rough edges. We want you to feel the textures and enter the spaces with us. We want to invite you into the chaos and have you stay. We're so glad you're here :)
