SunRock

Sunrock is a reggae-rooted, electronic/world music duo, straight out of the heart of Denver. Matthew and Hector and just two souls, but they build a whole universe of sound.

Our music lives at the crossroads where cultures meet and people move together. When Matt is not playing guitar, he’s creating new lyrics for future nuggets (songs). When he’s not creating lyrics, he’s shaping the next Sunrock track. When Hector is done banging on the drums, he’s on to programming the next heart-pounding rhythm for SunRock. 

Looking into the future, SunRock is about linking up: bands, artists, and communities across Colorado and far beyond, sharing music that carries light, truth, and rhythm.

The next chapter leans more experimental as they have already laid the groundwork for stretching sounds, breaking rules, letting the music breathe.

One thing they can’t outrun, and wouldn’t want to, is that they are both sons of the Southwest. You’ll hear it in the textures, the tones, and the spirit of what’s coming next.

Sunrock will bring rhythm and hope to the people!
