Trace & Baerd

Trace Hybertson and Adam Baerd haven’t known each other long, but the intensity of their musical bond suggests that their great-great-grandfathers must have shared an ale or two.

Their songs are a celebration of connection and creation. Their shows are a platform for spontaneity, virtuosity, and community. Their genre? A captivating (and wordless) tapestry woven with strands of Celtic, Americana, Scandinavian, Bluegrass, Jazz, and Magic to express a soundscape which is at once new and deeply familiar. 

Their debut album, Elevation, was produced by Brittany Haas (Punch Brothers, Hawktail) and recorded by Dave Sinko at Nashville’s storied Sound Emporium. It released on Adhyâropa Records on November 22nd, 2024, and it pairs best with your morning coffee, your afternoon walk, or your long drive home.

For Trace & Baerd, making an album like this was a lifelong dream, but that was only the first step of their journey. Now, they take the next one.
