Photon

Photon plays compositions of keyboardist Jimmy Dunstan, augmented by the rhythm section of Dan Africano (Theivery Corporation) on Bass, Tim Wendel on Guitar, and Neal Evans (Dopapod) on Drums. Blending sounds reminiscent of The New Deal, Medeski Martin and Wood, and Tycho, Photon will take you on a contemplative dance journey. Be ready for a night of infectious house beats and virtuosic instrumental story-telling. 

The band has played extensively throughout Colorado and beyond, with notable performances opening for bands like The Bad Plus and Dopapod. Legendary musicians have joined the stage with them including Felix Pastorius, Chris Michetti, and Kirwan Brown.
