Soul Puppets

Hailing from the heart of Northern Colorado, Soul Puppets are a genre-bending band that stitches together the raw emotion of soul music with the edge, grit, and groove of ’90s alternative rock. Founded by longtime collaborators Chris Musial and Wade Keith, the band brings a fresh but familiar sound that feels equally at home in a smoky club as it does on a festival stage.

The “Soul” in Soul Puppets reflects the band’s deep roots in modern soul and Americana—drawing inspiration from powerhouses like Teddy Swims, Chris Stapleton, Ben Harper, and The Revivalists. Their music channels heartfelt vocals, rich storytelling, and blues-soaked warmth.

The “Puppets” half of the name represents their pull toward the experimental, genre-blurring spirit of Sublime, Gorillaz, Incubus, and Audioslave. From laid‑back grooves to punchy riffs to atmospheric layers, Soul Puppets weave alt‑rock influence into every track. Soul Puppets is more than a band; it’s a hybrid sound born from two worlds tugging at the same strings.
