DeAnna Lively The Mississippi Blues Queen

Deanna Lively the Mississippi Blues Queen born in Union Mississippi to a family that worked hard at their cotton gin.  She began singing at the age of 10 that she realized singing was her life.

 

Dee went on to perform jingles at local radio stations after school, starting at age 15.  Her mother had a job as a bartender where Dee found herself as a hostess and singer by age 16.

 

When she came of age, she began working juke joints , county fairs and anywhere in the area where she could express her love for singing and entertaining.  At 21 she formed her band Chemistry which performed up and down the Gulf coast as well as numerous casino's....and each time they filled the venue.

 

She was featured on several radio stations on weekends and finally moved to Nashville at age 23 where she worked on demo's and performed at the Blue Bird Cafe.

 

For a day job she worked at a talent agency that was owned by Barbara Mandrell booking and handling acts for George Jones, Alan Jackson etc.

 

Dee moved back to Mississippi and continued to perform at the New Orleans Cafe, Poets, Miller Still and the Mississippi State Fair.

 

Dee has always had a deep connection with the blues.  Her powerful dynamic voice and charismatic stage presence takes her high energy performance to a whole new level.  She electrifies audiences at each show.  Hearing and seeing her live performance is an experience.  This woman can belt it out like no other!!!
