Wastebasket

Wastebasket is a 4 piece Easy-Core/Metalcore outfit based out of Fort Collins, CO. Since 2022, Kyle (Bass), Kevin (Guitar) Tryston (Vocals) & now Preston (Drums) have pushed the boundaries of up-and-coming bands in NOCO since their inception. All the members grew up with a variety of exposure to alternative & hardcore music early in their lives, something they've tried to translate into a more matured orientation for audiences far from the Denver hardcore scene & perhaps unfamiliar with it's roots in Colorado music. Fast paced & full of interesting melodies that takes turns between sweeping guitar licks, movement-fueled breakdowns & explosive choruses. These gents aren't afraid to bend the genre rules to their favor, while still exuding integrity & familiarity for those staple motivation's alternative bands are known to provide. After their debut EP "Good For US' with The Blasting Room made waves in the community in 2023, Wastebasket has refocused their goals with fiery passion this year, back with a renewed energy, ready & stalwart to tackle new music, new communities, and new opportunities in 2026!
