Part Weapon

Hailing from Denver, Colorado, Part Weapon is a heavy sci-fidelic space- and psych-rock project. Formed in 2022, the group features Tristram Nelson (guitars and synths), Kipp Koren (bass and synths), and drummer Connor Gibson.

Their sound channels the epic, atmospheric sweep of a lost 1980s sci-fi film soundtrack, blending titanic psych-rock guitars, pulsing post-punk and goth-rock undertones, and cosmic synthesizers. Rooted deeply in Denver’s independent live music circuit—with frequent appearances at venues like the Hi-Dive, Skylark Lounge, and Lion's Lair—Part Weapon crafts instrumental and atmospheric journeys that trade in heavy, hypnotic textures.
