Remedy

Remedy is a Metal band based out of Northern Colorado. Remedy provides hard-hitting grooves paired with catchy anthem choruses that allow all listeners to understand and find a place to relate to and enjoy! Remedy is a four-piece comprised of Dylan Shutt (lead vocals), Nick Wood (lead guitar), Nick Waters(rhythm guitar), and Devon Rotharmel (drums). Remedy was started by Dylan and Nick during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Devon joined soon after. After a series of lineup changes, Nick Waters joined to complete the band's current form. Since there were not any shows available to be played at that time, the band focused its efforts on writing an album during the following months to release the album the following year. The band released its first single, "Breathe," in January of 2021. The second single, "Shadow of Death," was released in March of 2021 and was a number 1 song request on Fuel Radio in April of 2021. Then, Remedy released their first full studio album titled "The Villain in Me" on September 18th, 2021. Since the album's release, Remedy has opened for numerous touring acts including In the Whale, Texas Hippie Coalition, Hemlock, and several others. Remedy's 2022 summer was highlighted by playing at the 100th anniversary of Greeley Stampede, a summer tour, and the single, "The Fire" receiving much radio play. 

The members of Remedy spent much of 2023 relearning and redefining what the project's goals and ambitions are. Remedy wanted to use 2023 to step into the next phase of the band in all aspects. Firstly, Remedy reaffirmed its goal of being a group that loves and is ingrained in its surrounding communities. The group has participated in many community events to help its members in need. Secondly, Remedy reaffirmed its goal of being unapologetically bold for its beliefs while still caring for and providing a home of music for everyone to listen to and be a part of. We live in a world where so much hate comes from being unable to respectfully disagree with each other, and Remedy strives to create a community where all can join and participate regardless of their differences. Finally, Remedy wanted to take the next leap forward in songwriting and production. After much dedication and refinement, Remedy hit the studio with Taylor Hahn of Hahn Audio at the end of 2023, and worked with Ted Jensen of Sterling Sound to master the music they recorded. The band has had its most successful year-to-date, with the release of the EP, "A Light in the Darkness." Remedy released A Light in the Darkness Deluxe in June 2024.
