Timothy Ozbad

Intro:

Hi there- My name is Timothy Osgood. I perform as Timothy Ozbad. I am an Americana, singer-songwriter that recently moved to Fort Collins from the Midwest. Since moving to CO, I have had the pleasure of meeting some of the finest folks in music and the arts. 

I recently recorded a new single with Aaron Youngberg at Swingfingers Recording Studios that features local artist Tobias Bank on percussion. It was mastered by David Glasser at Airshow in Boulder.

My new single is entitled, Across & By, and officially released everywhere on Dec. 21, 2024.

The song consists of me on vocals and playing my acoustic bass guitar. And then with Tobias bringing the beats.

Bio:

Singer/songwriter Timothy Ozbad spent his early years in Detroit until parents divorced. Then spent the next 20 years in NW Arkansas between Fort Smith and Fayetteville. Recently relocating to Colorado, he creates Americana, acoustical interludes for the mind, body and soul based on his own life experiences, dreams and desires. Some good. Some bad.

A chance evening in the dorm during college introduced him to the acoustic guitar. Since that day, he knew he wanted to create music inspired by those places that most don’t give a second glance. Imparting peace, love and balance through his unique rhythmic styles and melodies.

Timothy Ozbad draws his musical inspiration from a deep well of songwriters such as Bob Dylan, Stephen Stills, Lou Reed and Neil Young; mainstream bands such as Led Zeppelin, Jerry Garcia Band, Pink Floyd, Rush, Black Sabbath and Rainbow; along with additional musings from obscurities such as Captain Beyond, J.D. Blackfoot, Max Ochs, Frijid Pink and Black Oak Arkansas.

He has appeared at SXSW and played internationally along with being a runner-up in Chicago Battle of the Bands. His first solo album, “Trough Full of Pearls”, was self-produced and released in 2019. Through the Pandemic, he has been actively creating new material that will be available soon.
