Carbon Dioxide Ensemble
The Carbon Dioxide Ensemble is a Denver-based collaboration with Thomas Lundy, Victoria Lundy, and Mark Mosher. We focus on live improvisational multimedia performance art and musique concrète.
In this unique music and multimedia act, Mark uses samplers and other electronics to live-sample Thomas Lundy as he manipulates a Copper Heart with dry ice and other objects. Victoria Lundy accompanies on Theremin and live electronics. In some instances, Mark also provides interactive visuals with live camera input to further enhance the experience.
Since 2014, we have performed multimedia concerts in an around the Denver area including the long-running Concréte Mixer concert series at the Walnut Room, Scream Screen at the Denver Film Center, were the opening act for day 2 of the Denver International Noise Fest, collaborated using graphical scores with the filmmaker Taylor Dunne, and were invited to play a music convocation for the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver performing on stage at the Gates Concert Hall.
More recently we've performed at the Lafayette Electronic Arts Festival collaborating with Diablo Montalban on a deconstruction, reconstruction and live score for the silent films Frankenstein (1910) and Le voyage dans la lune (1902).
