Hailing from Fort Collins, Wasteland Hop plays a unique brand of Folk-Rock-Poetry. The Coloradoan calls them “a striking back-and-forth between soulful lead vocalist Steph Jay and MC Mickey Kenny.” Wasteland Hop has played with Jurassic 5, Talib Kweli, Flobots, Zion I, Sage Francis, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Since 2017, they have been teaching weeklong "Band Labs" to students in Alaska whose music programs have been cut from the public school system.
