Baily Stauffer & the Katy Janes
Baily Stauffer's music can best be described as heartbreak with a tinge of hope. Her sound is a genre-crossing combination of blues, rock, spacey-folk, and alt-country. She began writing songs and playing in multiple bands in her teens (Lifeboat Etiquette, The Piggies, Johnny Hickman, Feverbird). She is a Colorado native with musical roots deep in the Pacific North West. After taking a number of years off from the music scene to dive into motherhood, she released the November EP in November 2019, an album that includes songs that are over a decade in the making. She released the Carry On EP in October of 2022, which was recorded in her living room over one week in the summer of '22. She writes of her experiences, past relationships, and trying to not be so held by one's past. She can be found playing solo or with her husband/drummer, Ryan Hollen (of Lifeboat Etiquette) and long time friend/bass & guitar player, Shawn Keefer, and Chris Trumbo (bass.) Her music can be streamed on all major sites or found at https://bailystauffermusic.bandcamp.com and https://linktr.ee/bailystauffermusic.
