Lief Sjostrom

Lief Sjostrom plays Cinematic, Neo-Classical, Post-Rock using a cello, guitar, effects, and a looper. He played cello and guitar in many bands in Denver since 2009 including PrettyMouth, Sawmill Joe, Edison, Brianna Straut, King Cardinal, and many more, but after playing a few one off solo gigs playing cello and using a loop pedal and effects, he discovered a sound worth exploring, and in 2017 he released his first EP, "Her Prayers Sound Like Warnings." In 2018, he released a full lenght album, "Counting Breaths" and a Christmas EP, "The Longest Night," and he has plans for another EP release in the spring of 2019. His music has appeared on commercials for Highland Park "Valkyrie" Whiskey and a documentary by Adam Reynolds, and he has goals of doing more licensing and film scoring.
