Meadow Creek

Meadow Creek was formed in 2017 by Peter Hale and Arthur Lafreniere after playing a gig at Meadow Creek Reservoir which is located at 10,000 ft outside of Fraser Colorado. both Pete and Arthur have been playing together for about five years, their musical tastes are very similar with Bands such as Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, The Band, Allman Brothers, Beatles as influences. Meadow Creek asked Daniel Barreras to join the band in the summer of 2017. Daniel is an outstanding Harp player who also plays with two other local bands “the Buzz Brothers” and “Queen Bee and the Stingers” We as a three piece have played many gigs in Fort collins at the Boot Grille, High Point Bar, Prost Brewing, Tony's rooftop and several at Cassidy’s Bar in Johnstown and many private parties. The gigs we have played drew great crowds with lots of people dancing and lots of great energy happening. We have since added an awesome bass player James Paul who recently arrived on the music scene in Fort Collins after a colorful music career in the Chicago area. Together we deliver an ecelctic set of music from a slow soulfull Van Morrison tune to a ripping version of Johnny Cash's Folsom Prison Blues. We also cover quite few Greatful Dead songs and with Pete Hale singing lead vocals on many of the songs and Arthur and James singing backups, We leave the bar crowd wanting more ! We would love to offer our band's contribution to the 2019 FoCoMX lineup!
