Sesugh Solomon
The Fort Collins Native is the first generation American born. His parents migrated from Nigeria in the 80's. Sesugh has written poetry since the age of 8 years old and has always had a love and affinity for words. His first time performing/rapping in front of anyone was his 2nd grade talent show in middle school when he began writing songs. Although he never showed anyone his music, there were rumors of his musical talents. At 17 he joined a group of friends and fellow athletes called DNK and they began performing around Colorado. At 19 Sesugh went to school at Colorado State University and earned a degree in Anthropology and Economics. Towards his junior and senior year he realized he probably should have gone to art school, but with so much time invested he finished his degrees at Colorado State University. Once graduated, he found a passion in acting and won an award from the Denver Center for the Performing Arts for his performances. 6 plays later with no acting experience, Sesugh realized acting is a passion but music is his first love. He met Robert Salazar known as THC in his early years of performing in high school and years later Robert encouraged him to enter a rap battle. Sesugh won and continued to win rap battles in his hometown of Fort Collins Colorado. With 25 years of life experience and wealth of lessons, Sesugh is ready to make his first push into the music industry. His early inspirations, for music are Mac Miller, Asap Rocky, Logic, Tupac, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Nas, Panic at the Disco, Fall Out Boy, Ok Go, Al Green, and The Fray. Although he primarily raps, Sesugh sees himself as a songwriter and aims to do all genres. His content is inspired by his life experiences and his vision for the world to become inter-connected. His brand is T.I.V. (The International Village), also the name of the tribe his parents are from. With his eyes focused on the future, Sesugh believes it takes a village to raise a child and sees the world as one big village.
