Shad Buxman and The Graveyard Shift

Shad Buxman and The Graveyard Shift formed in the summer of 2018. The band has shared the stage in the past year with national touring acts such as Teddy and The Rough Riders, Cody Canada and The Departed, and Matt Woods. Their music is derived from the experiences of their front man, singer/songwriter Shad Buxman. His writing confronts the specters of substance abuse and loss, while musically pulling inspiration from traditional country, indie and folk music. With fourteen years experience writing music, Shad's songwriting and storytelling acumen continues to grow. Much of the music is driven by the intricate backing of mandolin/guitar player Alex Barbosa and steel guitarist Vince Pelini. Stand up bassist Bobby Bassman harmonically ties the band together while drummer Adam Loudermilk provides rhythm. The band has been in the studio since October 2019, working on their first full length album titled ‘Last Ditch Effort’. The album is set to be released in early March, 2020. Two new songs from the album (titled Silence and Last Ditch Effort) are available now on their Bandcamp and Souncloud pages! The songs will be available for streaming everywhere in mid February. In November 2018 Shad Buxman and The Graveyard Shift recorded a 5 song EP titled "The Fillmore St. Sessions." They continue to play venues all along the Colorado Front Range.
