Strange Brew

Strange Brew is a Northern Colorado band made up of seasoned pros and some great young talent. The elders of the group, Ed Roth, Shelly Williams, and Francisco Calderon have over 50 years combined experience playing the local music scene in bands such as After the Fire, Soul Injection, Elmer Funk, Running with Scissors, Ruidoso Blue, Dr. Dr., and Los Hijos de Tuto. AJ Roth and Austin Coke started playing together in their early teens, forming the band Point Blank. Strange Brew has many influences and covers many styles, but the sounds gravitates toward classic rock, rooted by the fun guitar interplay by father-son guitarists, Ed and AJ. Shelly’s vocal range and style opens up opportunities to cover some great songs. Francisco and Austin lay down a groovy foundation with a tight pocket and solid feel.
