Hotel WiFi kicked off the night at the theatre. The melodic arrangements and poetic lyrics are well-defined from this quintet. Bringing an experimental side to emo folk rock. They have a very artistic sound and vibe. Well-structured and solid foundations within the melodies gives the band plenty of room to explore the music live. Stay tuned to this young group as they have aspirations to get back in the studio soon to make new music
Senorita Sometimes took the stage next. Their style is self defined 90s meets rock. They have this unique vibe that presents many elements of contemporary music with obvious influences from many places and different artists. Combining rock, grunge and punk, they have a very broad pallet to work from. The arrangements are highly energized and innovative. There were plenty of fans and friends on hand to cheer on SS.
A.M. Pleasure Assassins rounded out the night dressed in full Wizard of Oz costumes. With influences from the Stooges to Pink Floyd, this band is exciting, diverse and fun to watch. Relentless in the art of performance and showmanship they are high energy and highly innovative. Self described Squishy/Punk the music is fast paced, raw and artful. Lyrically there are glimpses of truth, the daily day to day and the absurdness of it all. This band is an artful hard rocking look at life and they have a lot of fun doing it
