Needle & Thread are Ella and Maddy Zuellig; a banjo, fiddle, guitar playing, singing sister duo from Fort Collins, Colorado. Surrounded by traditional music since brith, they perform old ballads and songs from early American music. They are keeping the tradition alive with their sister harmonies and authentic style that will take you back to the past. 

Bottlerocket Hurricane

Bottlerocket Hurricane is the labor of love crafted by Colleen Murphy, a multi-media artist and songwriter hailing from Denver, CO. Over the years, Colleen has brought her musical vision to life through a dynamic, ever-evolving lineup of talented musicians and songwriters. Each one adds their own unique flavor to the mix, creating a sound that blends folk, psychedelia, blues, and bluegrass into a genre-defying, soul-stirring  experience. The result? A vibrant, genre-blending journey that will  launch you into auditory airspace with its heartfelt energy and sonic depth!

The McDaileys Four

A wholesome group of witty roots musicians with an americana/bluegrass twist.  We cater to audiences young and old with a variety of roots bluegrass, old-time, traditional, folk and original songs.  We perform throughout the west but based in Fort Collins, Colorado at festivals, concerts and special events.  Starting as The McDaileys, the band has currently evolved into The McDaileys Four.

Ragged Union

Ragged Union's signature bluegrass-and-beyond music has appeared at festivals, concert series and events all across the USA, England, and China, since 2013. Past performances include IBMA Wide Open Bluegrass, John Hartford Memorial Festival, Northwest String Summit, Durango Meltdown, Shrewsbury Folk Festival (England), and the Qingdao International Beer Festival (China), to name a few. Their music appears on celestial and satellite radio, and can be found on Spotify, Pandora, and anywhere music can be found, streaming or otherwise.

The Legendary Kathouse Pickers

The Legendary Kathouse Pickers a Colorado based bluegrass with rock & roll attitude 6 piece band presenting original music, as well as many EXCITING interpretations of multi generational and diverse musical selections. Founded in spring of 2016, and inspired by each member's artistic influences, ranging from Sade to The Refreshments, Ozzy Osbourne to Peter Gabriel, John Lennon to Paul Simon, as well as, traditional Americana/bluegrass all come together and engage to a wide range of audiences.

The Grass Project

The Grass Project is an instrumental four-piece band featuring the traditional bluegrass lineup of banjo, guitar, mandolin and upright bass creating an original sound blending elements of classical, folk, and jazz music that is at once exciting, entertaining, and enticing!

Blue Canyon Boys

The genre of bluegrass has its generations, with Bill Monroe and the Stanley Brothers of the first generation blending it’s way into the second generation of JD Crowe, Seldom Scene, Del McCoury and many others.  Similarly, Colorado has its bluegrass generations prominently starting with Hot Rize and the Bluegrass Patriots, and leading into the Left Hand String Band from the 80’s and 90’s.  In the early 2000’s the Blue Canyon Boys formed and over the past 20 years they have landed themselves solidly atop Colorado’s second generation in the bluegrass tier. 

Rusty 44

Energetic and joyful, Rusty 44 brings bluegrass, blues, Americana, and anything else they feel like to the table. Their music is accentuated by church-bred harmonies and virtuosic instrumentalism. This diverse group delivers a sound born out of collaboration, and it’s obvious from the moment the music starts that these friends are having a whole lot of fun!

High Country Hustle

A bluegrass alliance born in 2017 in the shadows of the San Juans, Durango’s own High Country Hustle brings big smiles and foot-stomping good times to venues across the Rocky Mountains and beyond. The band is composed of four musicians of diverse musical backgrounds who formed friendships over bluegrass, beers, and the beauty of Southwest Colorado. United in their love of traditional Bluegrass and Modern Jam music, they started a band. Developing originals over time, the group decided to record a record and released their first album on August 30th 2019.

FY5

For over 17 years, these five influential roots musicians have conspired to create original bluegrass, folk and country music in the studio and on the roads.  FY5 has toured coast to coast in America, showcased at Folk Alliance and the International Bluegrass Music Association conventions, and shared the stage with countless other contemporary acoustic artists.  Their show is energetic, thoughtful and endearing, having gained thousands of fans all across the country.
