Nick Critchlow & The Genuine Articles

Nick Critchlow is a singer/songwriter from Fort Collins, Colorado. He has been a local NoCo musician for almost 15 years, playing his original acoustic tunes up-and-down the front range. Critchlow enjoys tongue-in-cheek lyrics and telling humorous stories in between songs. His biggest musical influences are The Lumineers, John Mayer, The Avett Brothers, and Jack Johnson. Critchlow released his newest album Janky Rooster on June 14th 2025. 

The Genuine Articles support Nick and are comprised of Tom Viney (violin), Mason Bassuk (drums) and Gabe Alnajjar (bass). 

Carl Alexander and Charlie Stevens

Playing originals and covers, Charlie Stevens and Carl Alexander skillfully navigate an entertaining mix of Americana, rock and roll, bluegrass, reggae, soul, jazz and classical. With 2 acoustic guitars, a mandolin and a bass, that's 24 strings, 2 voices and 20 fingers, 2 generations of veteran musicians come together to create a rich, original sound. And sometimes a little humor. Both seasoned songwriters and combined, leaders of numerous bands across 5 decades and all 58 states. Well, almost anyway. But who's counting?

Alex Dunn

Americana troubadour Alex Dunn was raised in Fort Collins, CO, though he now lives in the high desert along the border of northern New Mexico - his band the Deal includes some of the top musicians from the Durango area.  

He has recorded with Anna Tivel and Eli West and has had the opportunity to share the stage with artists such as Marty O'Reilly, Rachel Baiman, East Nash Grass, Kassi Valazza, Rainbow Girls, Hen House Prowlers, Sammy Brue, Shawn Hess, Izaak Opatz, Robbie Fulks and many more. 

Wood Belly

Honest, soulful, and bearing a sound all their own, Wood Belly sprouted from the roots of bluegrass to notch a unique home in the broader Americana scene and continues to captivate audiences across the country en route. With an unrelenting dedication to original songwriting, harmony singing, and artful arrangements, the quintet is forging a sound that is based in newgrass and flavored with alt-country, rock, and just enough jam to glue it all together.

DW Doucet

“DW Doucet is a one man band that boasts a racing stripe kick drum, chains, a railroad track anvil, an old rotary telephone mic, and an archtop guitar that bellows a deep chord followed by howls, growls, falsettos, and a voice that ranges from Andrew Bird to Tom Waits. 

Sarah King

Known for her powerhouse voice and "fiery, vulnerable songs," Sarah King creates thought-provoking, versatile Americana music. Her genuine stories about real-life emotions and situations also draw on classic folk-blues themes, balancing songs about the devil and booze with hard-won moments of reflection and acceptance.

Erik Barstow

Erik is a Fort Collins artist writing lyrical americana, folk, and rock music. Often accompanied by pedal steel player Phillip Broste, their sound is nostalgic yet fresh, open yet haunting.
