Her upcoming full-length album, Shadows of a Ghost Town (Howlin’ Dog Music Group, 2025), expands on the success of her 2024 EP Kindred Spirits, which earned a GRAMMY® FYC nod and showcased her collaborative spirit through rich duets and co-writes.
Colorado based country-blues musician, Earl Nelson, is reinvigorating the field of modern americana-roots music. Influenced by everything from early 20th century hill country blues & bluegrass to the groovy 1970's era country funk. Writing about the working class American, Earl's lyrics are heavily inspired by his time working in manual labor as a welder. Focusing in on ongoing labor rights struggles, the music and lyrics behave without genre boundaries.
The Low Stakes are a band from Northern Colorado. They play rock ‘n’ roll. Their music is raw, simple, and honest. It’s like a good drink—it’s straightforward, it’s no nonsense, but it lingers.
Rooted in the tradition of steel-string storytelling, our music explores the slices of America often left in the rearview mirror. Think of short stories set to a high-plains rhythm. Grooves Ahead writes the soundtrack for the late-shift workers and the long hauls, inhabiting the space between the fluorescent hum of 24-hour diners and the dust of forgotten Colorado roads. From the first chord to the final lyric, we prioritize character development and narrative arc, capturing the grit of the struggle and the beauty of redemption. It’s raw Americana that tracks the journey.
Started in 2021, Molasses Flood captures the emotion and feeling of life in the modern world through the perspective of the American West.
A Wyoming native, Molasses Flood is a staple in the Laramie, Wyoming music scene. With visceral live performances that tap into the essence of Americana while also bringing forth thoughtful psychedelic improvisation and jamming inspired by Jerry Garcia and more.
Flood released their first EP in December 2024, with several other scheduled releases into 2025 and beyond.
Following in the vein of their earlier folk-rock project, Winchester Holiday, Noah Cecil-Bruce and Peter and Daniel Workman have taken a name from local streets and formed Hollywood Sunset. With inspiration from musicians such as Townes Van Zandt, Joni Mitchell, and Levon Helm, the band paints American landscapes, sings of loves lost, and recounts childhood drama through the tension and release of guitar-infused harmony. Wonder, sorrow, and joy; all of which they’re happy to share.
