The Painted Roses

Formed in Logan, Utah in early 2018, The Painted Roses began as an outlet for songwriter Cole Stocker (guitar/vocals) to share a catalog of folk-centric songs written in his time at Utah State University. The band has seen several lineup changes, but has largely centered around core members Alex Schneider (guitar) and  Allie Harris (guitar/vocals). The band released their debut album "Stone Cold Killer" in 2021, at the time labeled "the epitome of a musical masterpiece" by Salt Lake Underground Magazine (SLUG).

Decor Hans

Conceived as a solo recording project in late summer of 2023, Decor Hans initially facilitated a desire to record home demos with a stream of consciousness approach. The more the songs lingered, the more the prospect of playing them live seemed to present itself. Mason Rogers, Maxwell Tretter, Julie Clement, and Tobias Bank formed to concretize a live set and play their first show later that winter at Wolverine Farms in Fort Collins, Colorado.

The Non-Renewed

After a heartbreak, a lost job and a government ordered shutdown, singer-songwriters, Mellik Gorton and Meghan Mallon, joined forces to become The Non-Renewed. Mallon pulls from artists like Haim, Brandi Carlile and Avril Lavigne, while Gorton leans into the folk-rock world of Andy Shauf, Pinegrove and boygenius. Despite differences in their music preferences and even personalities, the magic comes when it all collides. The pair’s warm, raspy harmonies and playful, guitar-forward melodies shape earnest tunes that range from folk-rock to soul-pop.

The lead singer Julian Navarro started out on drums as early as 3 years old and quickly graduated to bass, vocals, guitar, and pro tools as he grew up in the Baltimore music scene. Almost being signed 3 separate times throughout his career he finally started taking off when he moved to Denver and rebranded his project from Faceless Ones to Cherokee Social. Shortly after this rebrand he picked up guitarist Alex Creighton who brought energetic guitar solos and added staged energy to the band.

Clay K & The Vertebrates

We pull from a wide array of influences including noise rock, indie folk, post-rock, ambient, and industrial. We’re very energetic on stage and go out of our way to engage with the audience through loud, dense compositions that capture the room. We want to try and carve out our own in niche in FoCo and in Colorado in general. We’d love to play FoCoMx as we’ve all gone out and seen shows for the event for years and have a blast every time.
