Dandu

Dandu’s music is hard to categorize, with ever-expanding influences that range from jazz to metal, electronica to classical, and beyond. The trio’s sound is fueled by complex, well thought out arrangements that leave room for moments of true spontaneity. The mission of the music is to take you on a journey through shifting scenes, evoke a range of emotion, and keep you endlessly surprised by what comes next.

Electric Giz

Electric Giz draws in audiences with accessible grooves and contemporary sonic elements. Our original music combines improvisation, sound design and catchy hooks in an immersive journey through genres. Seemingly simple compositions provide a foundation for the band to share their joy in spontaneous creation. Electric Giz is the brainchild of Greg Gisbert and Mickey Lenny, born out of their collaboration with Maria Schneider on her Grammy winning 2020 album Data Lords.

BunniBunne

BunniBunne (pronounced Bunny Bunny) is the passion project of audio engineer and bassist Leith McLeod. With the help of his twin flame Hayden Bosch the two scout and collaborate with top caliber musicians to create energy and sounds that have not been heard before.

Kalamath

Kalamath is a jazz fusion and funk band based out of Denver Colorado. Scott Cluff on saxophone, Kyle Coberly on guitar, Gabe Schneider on bass, and Hezekiah Agbo on drums. We all have studied together at the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts where we have performed together at Dazzle in Denver and other jazz venues.

Defunkl

Defunkl is a contemporary ensemble of seasoned professional musicians from along the Front Range and Northern Colorado. We play 'Soul Jazz', Latin, and Funk. The group has evolved over several years to currently include Doug Carmichael on Saxophones/Woodwinds, Daniel Kapit on Keyboards/Piano, Dave Nielsen on Electric and Upright Bass, Matthew Floyd on Saxophones/Woodwinds, and Oscar DeZoto on Drums/Percussion. Every member of the group is activiely involved in solo and group recording sessions, along with a busy performance schedule in other working bands.

Elements

Elements is a five piece contemporary jazz group consisting of bass, drums, keys, guitar, and saxophone.  We largely play instrumental covers/adaptations of contemporary/smooth jazz and occasional pop/rock songs of the past 40+ years, with occasional vocals, or an original tune thrown in.

Elements

What is now Elements has formed organically from jam sessions over the past 10+ years, but settled on its current personnel in the fall of 2023.

We largely cover contemporary or smooth jazz recordings we like, mostly instrumental with saxophone playing lead, and occasional vocals from our keyboardist.

We aim to bring a mellow, enjoyable sound to audiences who enjoy, or who might not have been exposed to some of this music.

Quad Project

May we introduce Quad Project, a four-piece instrumental combo from FoCo, here to make your ears happy and your feet even happier.

Veterans of numerous local and touring projects, the members of Quad Project came together two years ago to create their own jazzy, funky magic—drawing inspiration from the hard-driving spontaneity of 1960s soul jazz, the swagger of funk, and the mind-bending twists of prog rock. Their sound lives in the pocket: gritty organ lines, locked-in rhythms, and exploratory solos that keep every performance fresh.

Side Effect

Side Effect is an instrumental jazz groove trio with drum, bass, and vibraphone. We combine hard grooves with a chill vibe that is low volume and easy to listen to. With a line up of all original music and unique instrumentation, Side Effect has the perfect groove to make you move!

Equinox Jazz

Equinox Jazz is a five-piece jazz band performing across the Northern Front Range of Colorado, focused on providing exceptional live jazz music for a wide range of occasions.  The band is led by Randy Whiting, an experienced bass player originally from the San Francisco bay area.  He has performed at various venues including the Shoreline Ampetheathre as well as Kuumbwa Jazz Center.  He has produced 3 CDs with the jazz group @Jazz and also recorded with the Bill Susman Trio.
