there's an ape for that

the only thing the ape loves more than music...is sharing music with humans. the ape dj's using only vinyl records. as the ape finishes with each record, it is given away to one of the humans in attendance for them to take home. there is no need to go to machines for entertainment. there's an ape for that.

Sultan and Necromancer

With a common interest in dance music and darkwave, Echo and Anna have created a program to ride the spectrum along a purely electronic signal, powered by humans and/or human error. Analogue signal paths spread with digital binary, both sequenced with fingertips, to thrust the listener into desperate dance rhythms and melancholic confusion. Dancing is the goal, whether it is by human or machine.

RSRCH

RSRCH began in 2016 as an outlet to explore the idea that music can be danceable and approachable while also providing an experimental and genre-bending sound. RSRCH borrows heavily from the late 1970's-1980's aesthetic, evoking the era of cults and occultism, psychedelic experimentation, dystopian government secrets, and the rise of technology. RSRCH ties these themes together in a danceable, dark, and cinematic sound that is fresh yet is rooted in something familiar.
