Perc Ens

Perc Ens is a minimalism percussion ensemble, performing intense, mostly-acoustic compositions and improvisations. Inspired by composers Steve Reich and Terry Riley, Perc Ens achieves moments of flourished epiphany juxtaposed against droning repetition, like a tacitly humble solo shaker. Perc Ens has many iterations of live performance, so you might see marimba, drum set, lights, chromatic pitched instruments, sermons, or hand percussion, all prepared to showcase the melody, rhythm, and timbre of each instrument.

LuneAseas

We incubate, create, and perform with different platforms of artistic mediums from music, visual design, shadow work, physical theater, to dance, while provoking conversations on social issues relevant in today's world.

LuneAseas finds the harmony that drives these different mediums through collaboration. We expand, immerse, and diversify audiences through projects in live theatre, film, and digital media. We teach dancers, non-dancers, and organizations how to harness the creative potential of groups using our methods of creative movement and sound.

Gay Neighbors

Gay Neighbors believe music should be a liberating experience! Formed in the sleepy college town of Bloomington, Illinois, Gay Neighbors awoke the natives to their colorful brand of psychedelic rock. On a mission to spread psychedelia arcoss the globe, Gay Neighbors moved to Denver in 2018, bringing along their cacophony of sights and sounds to the Mile High City. Gay Neighbors keep it LOUD!

For None Now Live

For None Now Live is the experimental side project of Nic Federle(Triton, Cyanide & Happiness, local audio engineer). Utilising a swath of analog hardware, loopers, samplers, and unique vocal techniques, For None Now Live creates living soundscapes to dwell in. Dark, twisted, and enthralling; a spiralling expanse of cerebral droning and metallic blooms. The stories told by this growing dark mass will haunt your mind and infect your soul. Part performance art and part ritualistic meditations on the macabre; For None Now Live must be experienced to be believed.

Chinchillaz in the Mist

Chinchillaz in the Mist is a music collective based out of Fort Collins that performs Percussion and Spoken Word. Whether you're looking for surreal meditations on the passing of relationships and seasons, a love song for a horseshoe crab, a stressed-out Bop-It telling you to commit crimes, or a grown man crying on stage, we've got you covered. The Chinchillaz are primarily CSU Percussion grads so every angst-ridden, poorly-edited poem is accompanied by marimba, vibraphone, drumset, hand drums, and whatever else they could hit to make a sound.

CB's RATi0

CB’s RATi0 began as cover band, CB & the G Jeez, performing punk classics renditioned in Country BlueGrass Blues style. Founded as a means to keep busy & steer clear from alcohol, Blast N Scrap founder & executive director Michael “Blasti” Gormley, felt playing 3 or 4 chord songs at outlaw country's pace was all they could handle.

In time, the project bore fruit of its own, lending its learned style to the first new original content from the artist in nearly a decade. As irony would have it, these compositions racked up time blocks in the 5-8min range.

ANIMAL / object

The very first evening that the core three of us (Kurt Bauer, Steve Gordon, & David Mead) met there were three ideological questions asked.: 1~What is indeterminacy? 2~What is ambient? and 3~What is music? We've spent the last three years in continual redefinition of these principles.. ANIMAL/object is an ever evolving project in every way and no two shows are alike. We spend time apart building new instruments to bring to the table and ask about new ideas with each new opportunity.
