Second Hand King

Joseph Stanziola's Doo Wop/Rap project, Second Hand King music mixes the poetry of Hip-Hop with the harmonies and "feel-good innocence" of Doo Wop music. His musical character evokes a more menacing Buddy Holly with whom he describes "Grew up listening to too much 2Pac." His music finds the delicate impasse between Childish Gambino & Dean Martin to create such a genre. Joseph began performing under the alias Second Hand King in 2008, in Kansas City.

safekeeper

Formed in Fort Collins, Colorado in February 2018, safekeeper is the melancholy brainchild of childhood friends Zachary Visconti and Matt Scorca. The self-proclaimed “slacker rockers” are characterized by explosive live performances and an array of erratic songwriting. The four-piece floats seamlessly between melodic and chaotic guitar tones, often drawing comparisons to 90s-era alternative bands like early Modest Mouse, Built To Spill, Slint and Pavement.

Rough Age

Rough Age, the musical alias of multi-instrumentalist/looper Nathan Archer & friends, is an artist caught between rock and roots, intimate and universal, roaring band and crooning songwriter. Witness “Al Jazeera”, a gypsy-acoustic-pop puzzle in rotation on Colorado Springs’ KEPC, which compares a disintegrating relationship to Middle Eastern upheaval. Album opener “Adelita” laments urban tragedy over ringing power chords, evoking the classic rock of Springsteen or The Hold Steady. Throughout “Before It Comes Apart” the vocals shine and shudder compellingly.

Room Twenty-Seven

Formed in 2016, Room Twenty-Seven has been writing and producing songs that have an alluring tone that bends the barriers between rock, folk, and blues. Residing from Black Mountain, North Carolina, Sam Anderson, AnnaBeth Berry, Matthew Price, Jeffrey Reynard, and Kelcie Winningham all met while attending college and named the band after the room that they all first played in together. Their debut EP, First Floor, displayed the band's abilities to not only write and play, but to also mix and master.

Robert Shredford

Robert Shredford is a reverb-drenched surf rock party from a coastless state. Named after an actor your mom loves, the band employs four-part harmonies, femme punk energy, and dangerously catchy hooks for their songs about ghosts, lady power, and bad decisions.

Reggie Van Dyke

I grew up playing the piano and running around the forests of Suburban Virginia. Started a rock band called Vinegar Tasters with my brother and performed in front of Front Range audiences for almost 4 years. Band members had kids and gave up. BUt I couldn't give up. My daughter inspired me to create a sound that covers as much ground as a regular band while only needing the one member (though playing in a full band is preferred!) It's pretty easy to schedule band practice when it's just you. And I've been playing out ever since. Now my 6-year-old joins me on stage and dances. I love music.
