Dr Lunch

Hungry for Funk? Dr lunch serves it up on a silver platter. This Colorado based funk-fusion quartet was formed in 2023 by a group of sandwich lovers ready to bring piping-hot grooves to you. 

The members of Dr Lunch met at the UNC School of music in Greeley, Colorado, but have a diverse background of playing jazz, classical, funk, R&B, and hip hop. the members of Dr Lunch have shared the stage and recorded with Grammy award winning artists, NEA Jazzmasters, and international superstars. 

ABUNTO

Abunto is a four piece band hailing from Fort Collins, CO. The group came alive in late night hours following jazz combo sessions and sweaty garage jams. Abunto aims to mix the most eclectic of music and inspirations to form something truly fresh. Described as "techno funk" and "disco prog rock", the music mixes a groove-driven spirit with the soul and energy of progressive rock.

The Spicy Pickles feat. Hannah Rodriguez

The Spicy Pickles is a Denver based 8 piece band. The Spicy Pickles was originally formed to play for swing dancers, and has since opened up their influences to include funk, soul, and pop, focusing on creating grooves that move people. The band is influenced by Count Basie, Fats Waller, James Brown, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, T-Bone Walker, The California Honeydrops, The Dip, and more. The Spicy Pickles feature some of Denver’s most in demand musicians from the jazz and funk scenes.

Dr. Lunch

Made up of four sandwich-loving jazz nerds, Dr. Lunch is a funk quartet based out of Greeley, Colorado. Heavily influenced by artists such as Herbie Hancock, The Meters, and Jimmy Smith, Dr. Lunch delivers a show of covers and originals while never letting up on the excitement. With members that have performed on national and international stages, Dr. Lunch brings an original bluesy jazz-funk sound to every show. 

Thunderboogie

Based out of Boulder Colorado, Thunderboogie is the bass led, jazz fusion brainchild of Jake Downey. Originally started as a solo project, Thunderboogie has gone through many iterations before solidifying into its final form today. The writing has always been eclectic, blending sounds of jazz, prog, funk, classical, soul, psychedelic and anything else they draw inspiration from

Wrenn & Ian with Libelula

Wrenn & Ian with Libelula launched in the summer of 2021. This musical project is an expansion of the Wrenn & Ian duo, capitalizing on their success and taking a different musical direction. Playing originals and their own take on some classics. Expect a groovy, upbeat and funky performance.

Nu Bass Theory

Nu Bass Theory, a Colorado based duo plays a rare slice of electronica that maintains the groove. Thoughtful music production that blends technical organic elements from raw instruments. Inspired by Vulfpeck, Sade, Rhye and Dilla. Nu Bass Theory creates a unique brand of live electro-pop-funk and jazz, blending electronic beats, synth, samples and vocal harmonies to create an alternate lounge world dance party. 

 

 

Altitude Groove

Altitude Groove is a 7-piece Funk and R&B cover band, playing music from the 70’s to current hits. This group of veteran musician is based out of Fort Collins and has worked for decades with a multitude of popular artists and bands across Colorado, California & Finland. The powerful tight rhythm section, super talented keys, dynamic guitars and powerful male and female lead vocals deliver professional enthusiasm and passion to each performance.
