Bio: Led by guitarist Blake Beitzel, Atlas Radio is a funk-forward jam band based in Denver, CO. Touted by their followers as “the nastiest band on Earth”, Atlas Radio often combines the worlds of funk, jazz, and blues with modern psych rock and EDM elements to create a sound that can be enjoyed by many listeners of varying age ranges and walks of life.

Swade Brigade

Swade Brigade is a Denver based Jazz and Funk Fusion band delivering high energy and groove based music that anyone can enjoy! Their repertoire include exciting and new takes on classic and modern fusion legends such as: Herbie Hancock, Grover Washington Jr., John Scofield, The New Mastersounds, and Snarky Puppy. 

The Function

"The Function" is a Denver based intergalactic Funk/Jam band. Combining their roots of Jazz, Hip Hop, Latin, Funk and Soul, "The Function" has a sound unique to them that is guaranteed to get your guests moving! Captivating performances of original music and covers of beloved artist such as; Grover Washington jr., Butcher Brown, Joao Bosco, Stanley Turrentine and many more are perfect for guests young and old from every walk of life!

Val Chillmer

It all started when a cover of Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean transformed into a 15-minute fusion jam at a birthday.

The five members met while they were either teaching at the same studio or in other bands. They each discovered they all graduated from the same music program (but at different times) and shared a love for jazz. Conversations about Brian Blade and Chick Corea over pizza turned into weekly jamming and hanging out, which turned into booking their first gig.

Krewe De Groove

Krewe De Groove is Denver’s hottest funk unit. They mix funky originals with a heavy dose of New Orleans, classic 70’s funk and disco, r&b, hip hop, acid jazz and beyond. Founded in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina washed Bagus Haig to Denver, the band has been a favorite for local festivals, beer gardens and nightclubs looking for a full concert experience for their audiences with a fun and funky mix of catchy originals and dance-able covers by The Meters, Funkadelic, Dr John, Professor Longhair and more.

Black Hole Boogie Band

Orobeat

Orobeat emerged from the celestial firmament, captivating audiences with their sonic tapestries. Jesse Epstein weaves an electromagnetic blanket of bass. Atop this shimmering aural fabric, Greg Douras embroiders tales of the eternal dance between light and dark with his otherworldly guitar. Joining in December 2024, Sarah Melby Yoder floats dreamy electric flute lines, enhanced with sparkling effects, adding a new dimension to Orobeat’s jazz-funk fusion sound.

Monkfoot

Monkfoot is a fusion group out of Fort Collins, CO. The band's music combines the sounds of funk, rock, and jazz with vintage-inspired tones. Influences include Herbie Hancock, Frank Zappa, Miles Davis, Jeff Beck, Eumir Deodato, and others. 

The musicians in Monkfoot include some commonly seen musicians who have played around Fort Collins. The members include Drew Anderson (drums) Nick Boeka (keys), Joe Prinzivalli (bass), and Dan Kern (guitar). At times, Monkfoot also has horns: Dave Clapsaddle (sax), Johnny G (trombone). 

Splendid Blend

Guided by their affinity for tight grooves and eclectic influences, Splendid Blend has crafted a distinct sound they are eager to share with the world. After releasing their debut EP in 2020, they've gained a loyal following one unique, highly improvised show at a time.  Since their inception, the group has played dozens of shows around Colorado, headlining many iconic Denver venues while amassing a significant catalog of songs.

Space Force

Space Force is a Colorado space fusion band dutifully devoted to defending the dankness of deep space.  Founded in Fort Collins in 2018, the crew now calls Denver home base.  Proudly funky, often weird, and always ready to party, this crazy crew of cadets harnesses the vibrations of the cosmos through their IMDs (instruments of mass deFUNKtion) and channels that sweet intergalactic groove straight to ya booties.
