Gora Gora Orkestar is where the electrifying spirit of the Old World meets the vibrant energy of the Rocky Mountains. Since 2009, this 10-piece brass band has been igniting dance floors with their high-octane blend of Balkan and Klezmer music. With driving rhythms, soaring melodies, and a fresh twist on Eastern European traditions, Gora Gora transforms every performance into an unforgettable celebration.

Blessing Chimanga is an internationally celebrated Zimbabwean musician renowned for his extraordinary talent as a marimba player, singer, songwriter, and percussionist. As a cultural ambassador for Zimbabwe, he has captivated audiences across Asia, Europe, North and South America, and Africa.

Blessing’s music is distinguished by its energetic African rhythms and his virtuosic marimba performances, complemented by his magnetic stage presence and engaging entertainment skills.

Community Shoe is an experimental performance ensemble that blends virtuosic musical composition and improvisation with original animated visual tokens and storytelling to create a tapestry-like audio/visual journey through a handful of life’s hypotheticals. Our music borrows sounds and feels from various genres, gliding through folk, indie, progressive, rock, jazz, and various world music, then folding them all into one brand new thing.

Denver-based Beasts Of No Nation is a revolutionary Afro-Funk collective redefining the intersection of rhythm, cultural expression, and freedom. Rooted in Afrocentric grooves and bold artistry, the band transports audiences to *ViBERiA*—a fictional realm inspired by the spirit of Liberia where the vibration is freedom and music ignites the soul.  

Zaa Nurty is a recording and performing artiste from Lagos, Nigeria. Zaa Nurty grew up listening to King Sunny Ade, Fela Kuti , Wande coal, 2face idibia, Faze and Bob Marley who have all played key roles in shaping his love for music today., He started a group growing up called Nurty Boiz. After their split He focused on his solo career All of this while juggling being a full time business Administration student in Lagos where he learnt to horn his specific sound. His Afrobeats roots resounding in his craft.

We are a trio that play Afro rnb. We have saxophone, live drums and electronic instruments 

CSU UpBeats is a group of community members, faculty, and music therapy students that provide a fun, safe, and creative space for music as a health resource. The group draws on drumming and research-based ways to engage with music and each other. Come join us – we’ll have plenty of instruments for participants of all ages!

A new grouping of four old friends who have a passion for chasing down wild/rare traditional dance tunes from among the many thousands that have come out of Ireland and its far flung diaspora regions. We perform reels, jigs, hornpipes, barndances, marches, and expressive slow airs, also known as laments. We ride a worldwide renaissance of love for this enchanting and ancient music; passed on from musician to musician; handed down through centuries; evolving and growing as many hands continue to shape it.
