KOWKOW is an award-winning Afrobeats artist based in Miami, known for his vibrant sound and captivating performances. His music, rooted in the rhythms of Afrobeats, blends English, Pidgin, and Creole to create a global appeal. Reflecting themes of love, resilience, and celebration, KOWKOW’s artistry resonates deeply with audiences worldwide.

In 2022, the cosmic convergence of three veteran Colorado musicians birthed the Foggy Mountain Spaceship, a band forged in the starlight of serendipity. With their banjos echoing the ancient melodies of distant galaxies, they've been on an astral journey ever since, pushing the sonic limits of their instruments.

Biography

James Robinson is a phenomenal guitarist from the San Francisco Bay Area suburb of Campbell CA. James Robinson gives a high-energy and charismatic performance that is not afraid to explore instrumental improvisation to the deepest level. Each performance is a trip into the magical realm of sound, with the depths of his music fueled by the energy of the audience. 

Siembra Soundsystem (aka Siembra), led by the musical duo Selecta C and Yucasoul, is an energetic band based in Denver, CO known for producing bold sounds and energetic shows that fuse ancestral rhythms with contemporary urban influences from the Afro-Latin diaspora.

On a quest to elevate culture and spread joy, Siembra has established itself as a vital component of Denver's music scene, creating a full-sensory experience that energizes audiences with creative and spirited performances.

A BIG INTERNATIONAL SOUND FROM THE ACTUAL SOUTH PARK, COLORADO. Split Window is a large ensemble. Performing with as many as 12 musicians, the band is able to approach many genres. They are known for upbeat, danceable music with a positive message and socially conscious lyrics. The band started in 2012 as a duo by Julian Daknis and Jodi Messa, and has since become the premier dance band of the Rockies in Colorado. Split Window has been voted the best band in Park County 6 years in a row now through The Flume’s (local newspaper) People’s Choice Awards.

We are a multigenerational, not-for-profit collective that brings people together through the powerful rhythms of primarily West African drumming, dance, and song. We are dedicated to learning, teaching, performing, and sharing what we love, driven by passion, joy, and deep respect for the cultural traditions we study.
