Desiderata

Desiderata reflects the laid back mountain environment where we formed in Durango Colorado. Starting out in the college scene, playing bars and house parties we had the freedom to experiment to find our own way to create the feel-good, captivating dance music we want to share. Blending a variety of sounds from Soul, Rock, Funk, Indie, Alternative, and Country leaves our sound without genre. The band doesn’t know how to describe it and will generally leave it up to you to decide.

Judith Hindle

Six-piece indie/rock band founded by female musicians Ava Bross & Jess Maltzman at the University of Denver's Lamont School of Music. Judith Hindle was created with the goal of a female-fronted band breaking into the local Denver music scene.

Recent Shows:

Orca

Bringing youthful energy and eclectic taste to the Colorado music scene, Denver-based quintet "Orca" feeds an appetite for exploration with tight, engaging compositions and instills lasting confidence with classic covers and mellow ballads boasting three vocalists often heard in harmony. Anchored in funky bass, engaged drums, bluesy licks, and poppy choruses, Orca’s chaotic curiosity reliably pushes the band to a unique result each night, leaving showgoers an adventurous memory riddled with sticky hooks, tactful musicianship, and inspiring joy.

The Thistle Tones are:

Julie Koenig (vocals, keyboard)

Ben Hall (guitar)

Zack Mautz (drums)

Welcome Back

They  play around Denver at venues like Hi-Dive, Squire, and they’re home venue, Lost Lake. They’ve been on multiple tours playing in cities such as LA, Vegas, Pheonix, Salt Lake, and more. Welcome Back released they’re first full length album “tinder in the Ashtray in April of 2024. From that, they’ve had their top songs — “Lemonade” and “Trip Train” — aired on local radio stations such as 102.3.

Circling Girl

Drawing inspiration from classic dream-pop icons such as Cocteau Twins and The Sundays, and modern indie favorites Beach House and Alvvays, Circling Girl crafts glimmering harmonies and spaced-out guitars that walk the line between familiar and fresh. Their latest album Only My Veins Know, unfolds as a lush dreamscape and a medium for self-exploration. It’s a storyteller’s record, painting portraits of lives marked by guilt, shame, and blaming ourselves for what goes wrong.
