Shady Oaks is a blues-rock band based out of Denver, Colorado. The band currently consists of Ty Gallaway (guitar/vocals), Isaac Vance (guitar/harmonies), Jonah Samp (drums), Sarah Hubbard (violin, theremin) and Hunter Bates (bass).

This unique 4-piece Denver-based band brings an eclectic mix of upbeat blues, New Orleans-style funk, and rock influenced originals, as well as putting a new spin on classic covers by artists like Muddy Waters, Bill Withers, and Johnny Cash. GAMB has played regularly at Colorado venues such as Appaloosa Bar and Grill, Local 46, Lola, St. Julien Hotel, and Lot 46. The band includes Medicine on harmonica/vocals, Adam Bartczak on trombone/conch shell, Matt Skellenger on bass, and Zach West on drums.

We are an indie blues-rock band from Longmont, CO. We formed in 2021 and have since played countless performances in the Front Range region and beyond. We were selected to represent the Colorado Blues Society as a youth act in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis Tennessee in the Spring of 2022. We also got the chance to play at The Bitter End in Manhattan, New York City later that year. Finally, we came in 2nd place in the CBS state finals for the adult division of the International Blues Challenge.
