The Born Readies

The Born Readies are a real-deal Rock and Roll band from Denver, CO. Don’t let their matching vests fool you, they aren’t cut from the same cloth as most of today’s bands. Blending a healthy dose of garage, 70s rock, and glam, they evoke the sounds of Johnny Thunders, Thin Lizzy, Cheap Trick, and Slade. The Born Readies are on a mission to bring Rock and Roll back to the masses, one fist-pump and foot stomp at a time!

The Barton Brothers

The Barton Brothers are a piano-centric songwriting duo, drawing influences from Sara Bareilles, Ben Folds, and Vulfpeck along with musical theater and Top 40. Classically trained pianists and childhood choir nerds, Jack and Dan grew up sharing stereos, piano teachers, and bunk beds, developing a familiar musical vocabulary from the beginning. From 2012-2016, Jack pursued musical theater in Northern Colorado while Dan was composing and producing for short films and advertising in New York City.

The Able Dogs

The Able Dogs are a young college-ish group of students based out of Greeley, Colorado. We have recorded one album so far, "Twisted Kiss". We used Garageband to mix and record the album, as well as a couple of cheap microphones. So far we have played at Greeley's Moxi Theater a few times, with one of the performances being in Bandwagon's annual Battle of the Bands. For the future, we intend on recording a pair of singles, and expanding our horizons at other venues outside of Greeley such as the Larimer Lounge and Pinball Jones.

Tenth Mountain Division

Born in the fertile breeding grounds of the mountains of Colorado, Tenth Mountain Division is continuing the musical legacy set down by their forefathers in Colorado. Like those that came before, Tenth Mountain Division is pushing the sound found in the mountains into bold, new directions with their exploratory take on Americana that dips freely in the well of all their diverse influences, classic Southern Rock, the progressive bluegrass that was born in their backyard in Colorado, the adventurous spirit of sixties psychedelic blues, and straight ahead driving rock ‘n’ roll. - "Tim Newby"

SYCDVK

SYCDVK is a Denver-based conceptual music project with roots in rock, jazz, and alternative genres. Groove oriented rhythms, complexly intelligent guitar work, and crooning vocals contribute to the bands unique sound that has been likened to the sounds of Radiohead, Soundgarden, Frank Zappa, and a hint of Frank Sinatra. The band released their debut album "Aubrey" in 2017 to local acclaim, and was named one of Denver's bands to watch by 303 Magazine. Their latest conceptual EP "Lurking Earthlings" was released in April 2018.

Sunrise Daydream

We're a rock band originally from Brighton, CO. We got started when we were in high school, we're now all in college attending CSU!! A few of our more prominent venues include Black Buzzard, Herman's Hideaway and Cheyenne Frontier Days up in Wyoming. We've also played multiple times on CSU's campus and around other fun events in FoCo, including the summer Food Truck Rally and this incredible festival, FoCoMX! People are often surprised by our sound, especially due to our lack of a guitarist.

Strange Brew

Strange Brew is a Northern Colorado band made up of seasoned pros and some great young talent. The elders of the group, Ed Roth, Shelly Williams, and Francisco Calderon have over 50 years combined experience playing the local music scene in bands such as After the Fire, Soul Injection, Elmer Funk, Running with Scissors, Ruidoso Blue, Dr. Dr., and Los Hijos de Tuto. AJ Roth and Austin Coke started playing together in their early teens, forming the band Point Blank.

Stilted

Stilted. A three-piece rock and roll band from Fort Collins, Colorado. Playing original music that runs the gauntlet from indie rock to (heavy) alternative, Stilted was once described as sounding like “the bastard love child of Nirvana and the Talking Heads”. Cody delivers masterful lyrics with blazing guitar riffs, while Thom lays down thumping, rhythmic bass lines over KJ’s powerful drum beats.  Stilted delivers a loud and rambunctious set of original music designed to knock your god-damned socks off.

StereoType Drive

Formed from the ashes of a recent Fort Collins band, StereoType Drive calls back to simpler time in Rock & Roll. A time with punishing drums, soaring vocals, and lots & lots of guitar. Spanning across several generations, this band is a unique hybrid of 80's metal, powerpop, and grunge. Cisco Romero (drums), Bob Doughty (lead guitar) and Dillon McDonald (bass+vocals) met in a previous band known as Mad September. After a few years off, some intermittent musical projects, and couple of cross-country moves, the band reformed in late 2017.
