The ThreadBarons
“On the road to ruin, there’s a lot to see…” There’s a dark thread meandering through this music. It weaves its way through tales of sin, regret and desperation. Of lonliness and resolve. Leaving an imperfect fabric — a refreshing polar opposite to perfectly posed Instagram lives. There’s a melancholy soul here that runs to the bone. The music of the Threadbarons is informed by the vast variety of life. Members hail from New York and Pennsylvania; the midwest and west Texas. They range in age from their freshly matured 30s to their deeply weathered 60s.
The River Arkansas
It may be low hanging fruit to compare The River Arkansas’s music to a river, but a band that delivers indie Americana and honky-tonk swing that erupts like turbulent rapids, curves into country calmness, and crashes smooth blues-rock upon the shore is deserving of the name sharing that sort of kindred power. A batch of Colorado’s finest musicians whose abilities shine throughout the golden hour that is Waiting on the Rain. The five piece each skillfully showcases their craft while seamlessly bonding together as a band.
The Ordinary Two
"...an Indie-Pop dog chewin' on a Jazz bone." Hear the extraordinary sounds of The Ordinary Two! Jim fell in love with Tanya many years ago when he first heard her sing. Theirs is a story of inspiring love and overcoming odds. Sultry vocals, fancy fretwork, and sweet vocal harmonies combine to deliver a unique Alt/Folk/Jazz style through music about travel, love, and life. Together they harmonize like only soul-mates can.
