moodlighting

Started during the beginning of the pandemic, moodlighting was never intended to be more than a recording project. Denver couple Sophie and Alex started writing songs together to stave off isolated boredom, with little consideration given to how they would play them live. Once shows started back up, they decided they might as well give it a shot and add more members to be able to play the songs live.

Neon the Bishop

Indie Rock/Power Pop formed in 2019 in Denver, CO. Neon the Bishop has solidified itself as a must-experience act in the Denver scene and beyond. The project brings piano, nostalgic synth, punchy bass, guitar-driven indie rock staying well balanced with its stylish pop sensibility and lead singer Kendall James' unique and instantly recognizable vocal work. Along with headlining several sold out shows, they have shared the stage with major acts such as The 1975, Cage the Elephant, Rise Against, Halfalive, and lovelytheband.

Plastic Forearm

Howdy we are Plastic Forearm! We've been a band almost for 2 years now originally from Orlando, Florida. We have been throwing diy shows in Fort Collins, Boulder, and Denver since the move. We are basically a country band that has gone wrong.

mon cher

mon cher is the indie electronic project of Denver-based artist Meghan Holton - blending textured synthscapes, punch drumbeats and ethereal vocals into emotionally rich soundscapes.

Following the 2023 LP sweet & heady and 2024's fool EP, Holton continues to build momentum with the 6-song EP you don’t feel it when you fall slow, released on September 19, 2025.

Specific Ocean

The members of Specific Ocean met as jazz students at the University of Denver. Hoping to explore other musical areas besides jazz, they formed Specific Ocean. Their personnel has shifted through the years, but core members Alec Wenzel and Camilla Vaitaitis remained active throughout. Camilla and Alec are now joined by drummer Nikki Saiz and bassist Bridget Hartman.

Barbara

Barbara is a band. The Denver trio enjoys making sounds about feelings that come from things like turning seven at a roller rink, watching Freaks & Geeks, and accidentally taking too many drugs. From shoegaze to gritty psychedelia, Barbara remains wobbly and dreamy at their core. After getting their feet wet with their first album Escape Artist, Barbara has been touring, playing festivals, and recently released their sophomore album engineered and produced by Connor Birch of Flaural and mixed by James Barone of Beach House.

LEASHY

LEASHY is a high-voltage Colorado supergroup channeling raw energy into supercharged, hook-heavy indie rock. Think emotional whiplash in the best way: angsty, warm, irreverent, and cathartic all at once — recommended for fans of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Wet Leg. This band is comprised of Alysia Kraft (guitar), Shane Zweygardt (drums), and Oliver Mueller (bass).

Ploom

Over the past five years, Ploom has become a staple of the Denver psych rock music scene. Their 2020 self-titled debut EP was a blend of gritty lo-fi sounds, glistening psych rock guitar tones, dynamic vocal melodies, pumping rhythm, and creative time signature changes. Since then, Ploom has steadily produced singles that display their versatility. With the 2023 release of On the Clock, the band continued to explore time changes and once again showed listeners a different side with a more somber tune that contained a frenetic shift at the end.

Verner Calvin

Verner Calvin is Paul Burnsworth, Shannon Bailey, Hunter Hinkley, and Calvin Jordan.

Growing up the son of a glam rock guitarist father in Tampa, FL – Calvin moved to Taiwan shortly after graduation to study Chinese. An American singer-songwriter in Taiwan, he met his girlfriend, Anna, and the two started making music under the name Violet Lens.

Dabylon

Dabylon started with the creative ramblings of Dylan Sheji as early as 2010. During the Covid times of 2020 the music evolved into what it is today. A multi-genre blend of electronic, jamrock, funk, and indie/alternative. Backing tracks are used to supplement various live instruments (guitars and full drum kit) and a rotating cast of vocalists. The music seamlessly transitions from song to song to create a DJ like dance party atmosphere. Similar artists / influences would be Lotus, STS9, Thievery Corporation, and Dirtwire.
