Zealot is an indie rock band from Denver, CO, formed in 2016 by founding members Luke Hunter James-Erickson and Michael King, and later joined by Kitty Vincent and Suzi Allegra – all veterans of Denver’s indie scene. The group’s sound is rooted in a raw mix of high energy psych rock, indie rock, psychobilly, and fuzz - all packaged in melodic pop structures. Zealot writes songs about monsters, the devil, feelings, and the apocalypse. The band’s influences come from Sonic Youth, Black Angels, The Cramps, Pixies, and a hint of Mountain Goats.

One Way Sky is an award-winning alternative rock band from the Gila River Indian Community and the Tohono O’odham Nation in Arizona. Formed in 2019, the band consists of Adrian D Thomas, Cody Bruguier, Lomakoyva Manuel, and Damien Carlos, and is signed to Indiegroove Records. Their single Indian Route 15 received Best Alternative Recording at the Native American Music Awards

Mr. Atomic formed in 2015 in Boulder, CO, after songwriter Boneth Ahaneku brought together guitarist Matt Stewart and bassist Mitch Rushton to perform the songs she had been writing since her early teens. In 2018, the band added Ryan Fraser on drums and headed to the studio to record Spectator Sport, the band’s grunge-influenced first album. The band played several shows in the midwest and southwest in support of Spectator Sport, culminating in a homecoming performance at Denver’s Underground Music Showcase. In 2022, Mr.

Marking a new chapter in their trajectory, the band presents a cosmic shift in vision, fresh faces, and a brand-new album titled Speck. In this kaleidoscopic record - produced by Dylan Wall (Great Grandpa, Tangerine, Hibou, Versing, Scarves) at Hills Studio in Seattle and mastered by the legendary Jack Endino (Mudhoney, Nirvana, Soundgarden, L7, Mark Lanegan) - the band embarks on a sonic odyssey through the diverse genres they proudly call home.

Naked Mannequins is an upcoming band from Greeley, Colorado with a mix of punk and indie rock. Naked Mannequins was started by some best friends in a garage and has exploded into a local staple. From garage to recording studio. 

First and foremost, Carl Christensen is a storyteller. Drawing influence from Springsteen, Lucy Dacus, Big Thief, and Conor Oberst, Christensen’s songwriting is introspective, focused, vivid, and often heart wrenching. Christensen established himself in Seattle from 2021-25 fronting The Lake Flora Band and releasing two records with the project. Both Lake Flora Band records (Actor, Singer, Liar, Stripper, 2023, and Lake Flora, 2025)  have a strong Country/Western influence and received airplay on Seattle radio stations, such as KEXP, KBCS and SPACE 101.1. 

Five Minutes Out is the collaboration between a group of music school adjacent DU grads who love one thing and one thing only: making good music and having a good time. Since 2024 they have been packing local venues around Denver and having fun. Their musical style is primarily indie rock, and centers on catchy guitar and bass riffs to build exciting sounds.

we are a group of musicians hailing from Portland, Oregon, making what we call “indie collage music”. A mixture of catchy indie rock song structures, found sound and sampling textures, and an earnest post punk attitude. Our music is a constant stream of surprises and warmth, once described as “like if scrolling through social media actually felt good”.

The son of Samiel and Elsa, Eritrean immigrants who fled war, walked across the Sudanese desert for nine days, conceived him in Rome and birthed him in Denver, Yonnas Abraham is a confluence of miracles.
