House with a Yard

House with a Yard (HWAY) is an Americana/indie folk project founded by dynamic songwriter Davey Wallace.  Acoustic and electric instrumentation allow the band to explore the nuances of raw unrestrained rock, jazz/funk grooves, classical and baroque sensibilities, barn-burning bluegrass, and the sweet, deep pocket of old-time. Danceable, edgy, and melodic, House with a Yard delivers an immersive experience reflective of their northern Colorado home.

Heavy Diamond Ring

Some things are just meant to last. When Sarah Anderson and Paul DeHaven met and began playing together in 2004, they had no idea just how deep the well of their musical partnership would prove to be. After the disbanding of indie-folk sweethearts Paper Bird, the duo founded Heavy Diamond Ring and never looked back.

Gun Street Ghost

The first thing you’ll notice about Gun Street Ghost is that lead singer Mike Perfetti’s deep voice spears you right through the soul. The second thing you’ll notice is that each song’s lyrics tell a bare, truthful tale of Americana. Storytelling, where the focus is less on the speaker than the subject, is a rare bird among a generation of inward-looking songwriters. Gun Street Ghost serves up sometimes haunting, melodic, and steel guitar-heavy tracks in their eponymous 2014 album. Fans of Johnny Cash with a craving for twang will enjoy this band. – Erika Gill

Good Gravy

Good Gravy’s flavor can be described as a modern approach to American roots music or Americana. Within their recipe, are the remnants of bluegrass, rock, folk, electronic, jazz, and even calypso. This band has an eclectic earthy palette that is even furthered by the use of improvisation, a hard driving rhythm section, and occasional electric instrumentation.
