"The freshest face on this list, 27 year-old ReSrface, aka Jesse Santana, is a powerhouse in the making. A jack-of-all-trades, he makes most of his own beats, shoots and edits his own videos, does his own arranging, mixing and mastering, and even makes his own album art.

In the Mountain West’s virtually untapped goldmine of drill-inspired savants and SoundCloud-savvy mumble rappers, there is a hidden gem named Rev. da IV (born Havea “Harvey” Tukutau) ready to put Colorado hip-hop on the map. Born in Denver and raised in Wyoming and Utah before returning to Colorado, Rev. has built up a strong network of artists scattered all over the Mountain West. By collaborating with artists from different regions, he has collected a range of influences while also developing his own multi-faceted sound.

"4:32 AM" is an alternative rap duo who grew up together in Glenwood Springs, later moving to the Northern Colorado area for college in the years 2017 and 2019. The duo consists of rapper/producer Cy Jamison Hassell and rapper/producer Erich Albrecht. 

Their self titled tape "4:32 AM" that released last year is one that many are calling their best work. With too many standout tracks to list, it is clear that 4:32 AM is on a level of their own.

Born in Port Au Prince, Haiti to two conservative Christian parents, Noel’s rap aspirations were nearly dead on arrival. Despite his adamance on not cursing and staying away from sexually explicit material, Noel still couldn’t get his parent’s blessing nor their blind eye. Yet Noel continued onward in secret, filling his teenage years with poetry that evolved into voracious flows that have established him as the artist he is today. Only when he received an invite to perform in Dubai in 2015 did his parents change their tune and finally begin to see his merits.
